I'm about mid way through the book. The keep remembering about Hadely and how she dies and I guess the killed has to be punished infront of Sookie, etc etc. It read like they are re-capping a book. But I don't remember her or her death in any book so far. Did I miss a book? Am I out of order? Or did Charlaine just not write about the cousin until after the death, and is just catching the readers up on an event that wasn't written.

You can read about Hadley's death in a compilation book she wrote. It confused the crap outta me. Until I got a copy of the book. Its a short lil thing, maybe 20 pages or so, but it fills in all the blanks. Apparently in the timeline of things, the compilation was written between the publishing of the books, so it made sense. But for those of us trying to catch up now...not so much. Message me if u need a copy of it. I can share.

Oh yah, the anthology is called BITE.

Well, the book does a good job of catching you up. But it made me scared I maybe read the series out of order. Glad to hear I didn't/ Kinda too late to read the mini story now. But at least I feel better I wasn't missing a whole book! lol

You should read it though. It really fills u in on what happened the first time Sookie met The Queen, more details about creepwad waldo, and some other interesting details (and bubba is there!) Its a fun little read

I'll have to search it on Amazon. I just pre-ordered the book thats coming out in October.
